it's a good combo, but don't use it too much or you will be predictable

Straight standing bunts like that are very unsafe since your opponent can just smash the ball straight into to you. Instead you should do rising bunts. Press jump+bunt to do a rising bunt (the bunt has to be either on the same frame as the jump or immediately after the jump, but not before). That way by the time the recovery frames of your bunt ends you can smash the ball immediately, instead of having to catch up to it from the ground by jumping. You can also aim the bunt forward or backwards to prevent your opponent from stealing it.

Thats a rising bunt from the ground (bunt + jump), and a FF (fast fall) bunt at the peak (bunt + down). For the FF bunt to work you must press down after you reach the peak of your jump, and on the same frame or any frame before the bunt input.
