No issue with it here on Windows XP. Hope it gets resolved for you!

As you can see Steam does not care about selling games that work only with selling games working or not, if you got the cash they will take it if you got problems they dont want to hear it.

I have this problem as well.

I contacted their support, and actually got a reply.

Go to the C/USER/USERNAME/Document/Jowood/NFH1 and NFH2 folder.
Open the "gameoptions.xml" file.
Change "screen fullscreen" from "true" to "false".
Save and exit the file.

Apparently, the issue only actually affects it in full screen mode (as doing this DID fix the issue for me.) It leaves the screen smaller than I like, but that can probably be tweaked.

Thx for the fix.
Have deal with it being in a window and not full screen.. but at lease I can play it again

Edit ---- Better fix -- full screen works

<ingame autoscroll="false" timelimit="true"/>
<screen fullscreen="true" showfps="false" bitdepth="16" backbuffer="0" coloredcursors="true"/>

---- ingame autoscroll ----- was was cause the it...
Now I can really play it

You should have probably mentioned to change the 'false' next to 'ingame autoscroll' to 'true'. Other than that, thanks so much! Good to actually be able to play these games.

That was a better solution, and thank you. I was debating trying it out at first, but got involved playing the game. :p *chuckle* I'm just glad we were able to get a solution. I looked around online when I first encountered it, and all I saw were comments about DirectX versions and the like.
