Linux/SteamOS version?
It's nice to see a decent Lemmings successor at last. ;-) Do you plan to release a Linux version as well?

Hello pb,

A very good question.
At the moment, Flockers is only planned to be available on Windows via Steam.
Although we don't have any official plans to release the title for Mac or Linux, it may be something that we decide to do later down the line.
If we do choose to take this path, we'll be sure the let the community know through at least one of the following channels:
Our Steam Announcements Page
Our Steam New Page
Our Facebook feed
Or our Twitter feed.

Sorry if this isn't the answer you were hoping for.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for the answer, I'll keep my fingers crossed for being able to play it in the future!

I noticed this game because of the Indie Piñata promo and I'd love to pick it up if it was available for Linux. Until that happens though, I still have MouseCraft.

It seems that Linux x86 executable has been uploaded half an hour ago:
So it's coming after all? Any ETA on general availability? ;-)

Liar liar pants on fire! ;-) But it was SO much better than the companies who promise a Linux version and then don't deliver. Waiting for an official announcement / confirmation that Linux version works, and buying it right away! I loved most of the games you made for Amiga, and Flockers looks like you're back in shape! :-)

Thanks for the Linux build, I know this might be a little much, but any chance of a Linux demo? If not, I'll probably pick this game up on a sale.

Thanks for the Linux port, here are some bugs I found so far:

  • Seems archivements do not work. Finished the first 3 Levels but doesn't got the archivement for that.
  • I was only able to set my resolution to a 4:3 and 16:10 resolution. Changing it to 1980x1080 in the Default.cfg worked though.
  • Anti Aliasing doesn't work, I can activate it, but it has no effect.
  • Camera movement with the keyboard doesn't walways work as intended. Sometimes A goes to the right, then again to the left.
  • The game grabs the keyboard without respecting my Desktops shortcuts, so I can't ALT+TAB to switch to other windows.
I'm on Linux Mint 17 x64, with an Nvidia GTX 660.

Beside that the game runs fine.

It works on Linux but it's buggy at best, i currently have a issue where the game is offset by about half my screen so i can't see any of the interface elements to do anything useful with it.
