Your Feedback Needed - Focus on Sheep
Flockers,

One of the challenges the development team face when preparing a game for general release is ensuring that all kinds of players can easily jump into and enjoy the game. Part of that involves ensuring that the controls are sensical, useful and accessible.

The team have been looking at one feature in particular: Focus on Sheep. This is currently bound to the T button on your keyboard. Give it a shot, if you haven't already.

We're looking to get your feedback on this feature. Taking the time to answer the questions below will really help the team see how widely used this feature is, and in turn how important it will be to players.

Bring on the questions! Just copy and paste the list below into a response and add your answers.

  1. Before reading this post, had you used the Focus on Sheep feature in-game?

  2. Now that you've tried it, will you use the Focus on Sheep feature during future play?

  3. How useful is the Focus on Sheep feature?

  4. Is there any other feedback you'd like to give us about Focus on Sheep?

Thanks in advance for helping out!

4. Camera during clicking the Focus on Sheep button is awkward. Camera moves when the sheep were visible on screen, but I thought it will be center on it.

1) I tried it once but it didn't really convince me so I forgot about it.

2/3) It still doesn't convince me. Most often there is more than one group of sheep in the level and Focus Sheep just seems to zoom to the nearest sheep, which is not really helpful when I'm looking for something special. It is nice when you think you brought all your sheep to the exit and notice afterwards somewhere are still 2 sheep you probably just forgot to release. But otherwise I don't consider it much of a help.

4) My suggestions would be: Let Focus Sheep walk through all the groups of sheep that are on the map, so you can "zap" through them.
And let it work in pause mode so you don't lose time if the camera centers on a sheep you didn't even care for.
