Windows 8 Lag

Hello
I used to be able to run this game on 1400x900(Max Screen Resolution) on windows 7. I recently upgraded to windows 8, and now i get LAG on any resolution. I tried compatability mode and running as Admin. Still, it lags. If anyome finds a fix, please let me know!

PixWidth/PixHeight match native resolution (use the in game changer if you want, if you do that, PixDepth will be reset to 16 and you'll need to change the config file again)
