Ah, 3079. The oldest (On steam, atleast) of the series of 3079, 3089, 4089, and onward (Currently, 4089 is the latest as I'm making this review), and in my opinion, probably the best. Played 3089 as your first game in the series like me? Then you probably know NIGHT VISION, and MULTIPLE ITEMS FROM ONE TARGET TO STEAL, weren't in there. And I'm using caps, because, well, that's AWESOME to me. Also, building is, in my opinion, better. Here are the Pros, Netruals, and Cons.
Pros: More inventory space, more enemy variation, upgrading with a component and the "Engineering" skill being able to be used on Armor and Weapons, most likely batteries, generators, grappling hooks, drills and anti-gravity packs aswell, cool commands for Multiplayer and Singleplayer (Some Multiplayer exclusive).
Netruals: Not as much control over building, no weapon or armor taking apart, and rebuilding, Skyrim-Like leveling, destructable terrain, fiddicky mining/digging, bad AI level (Which sometimes adds to the comedy and fun, one time I leveled up my stealing with 2 enemies, and was finally able to steal from them)
Cons: Shooting when you don't have enough energy causes a brownout in life support, causing you to take damage, confusing maze-like buildings (For me, anyways), storage doesn't have much able to be stored.
With all of these put together, I'd have to say an 8/10. As I said with Cortex Command, such a wonderful idea, executed so well.
