:D! Congratulations on getting another game greenlit!
And nice decision with the toon effect. It really improves the appearance of 3089, in my opinion.

Congrats! I have 3089, love it. Cant wait to get it on Steam, and I'm glad to see it made it.

I'm a huge fan of everything of yours I've seen and purchased, and can't wait to purchase 3089 for a couple of my friends as a late christmas present so they'll finally understand these games I've been ranting about.

PS - Please tell me you're going to try to greenlight Gentrieve 2. There's just something so good about that damn game.

First "Stable" release of 3089 is here, in preparation for Steam:

v1.0.2 changelog:
Underwater visibility significantly reduced for player & robots
Projectile range significantly limited underwater
Dying robot parts will no longer be incorrectly drawn behind clouds
Fixed Graphical glitches with construction indicators
Fixed base ramps from not appearing on large height differences
Replaced “Greenlight” button with “Facebook” & “Twitter” buttons
Capped height of robots inside Towers so they will fit properly
Fixed graphical glitches & odd patterns with the water surface in the map
Followers will now obey your quest task requirements
Fixed enemy aggression when on a Protect task before the timer has started
Air spawn locations improved: no longer underwater or on edges
Action music cleared between games
Color overlays cleared between games & when returning to the main menu
Reduced the stun effect duration
Older multiplayer servers turn red in the server list
Added more information to the multiplayer screen, like if forwarding is required
Added a “Previous Quest” button to the Quest dialog
Explained the quest task requirement key section a bit better
Meteors will now be less deadly if you have a roof over your head (e.g. more safety provided in buildings, even near windows)
Removed the selector when hovering over tips in Quick Tips
Ramps have been added to provide easier access in & out of bases
Made the Decoy a bit easier to use & added help messages to the Decoy & Telelocator
Changes to the “Quick Tips” section
Other minor performance & stability improvements

Really busy with 3079 & 3089 stuff, so I'm not sure when I'll get to Gentrieve 2 on Steam (or Greenlight), which is quite the commitment. Although, thank you for your support & I'm glad you like it! Other people interested in checking it out can look here:

Good job with the new-ish art style! If you ever have limited resources or time you can allocate into graphics, just changing the way you want your game to look (from something realistic to something abstract) is a good way to disguise that lack of time or resources. Besides graphics, gameplay looks really fun! Think I'll get it when it comes out.

Awesome. However 3079 feels like an uncomplete game becasue of the demons at spawn that can one hit easily and how easy it is to lose all of your stuff in the begggining. I really hope that I will get a discount having already bought an uncompleted game. I'm excited just wish that it would be a 3079 update.

3079 is complete. Being complete, however, doesn't mean everyone will love every game mechanic. No game can achieve that. The demons are meant to be feared and avoided for good reason. Keep in mind you can instantly kill them with a proper demon smiter. At the beginning, you can keep your stuff by falling past the demons - this is explained in the guide on the Guides tab. Just as you didn't get a discount for GTA5 after buying GTA4, you won't get a sequel discount for 3089 either.

3089 is not an update to 3079 and it couldn't have been. That is like saying GTA5 should have been an update to GTA3. You can read more here on the subject:

Somehow I received a steam key for 3089 (Indie Royale I think) but when I activated it, although it appeared successful, nothing showed up on my list. The key tells me "already activated" in subsequent attempts.

You think it might appear once the game is officially on steam?
phr00t  [developer] Jan 3, 2014 @ 6:39pm
Yeah, I believe that is expected behavior right now. It should show up once it goes live, which should be next Friday! :D

Good stuff. I've been playin' it on Desura, but it never hurts to consolidate my steam library.
Congrats on the greenlight.
Wish I could trade this game in for 3089 because I pretty much finished 3079. Is there any way to do so?
