Own 3079 already & want a Steam key?

I'm working on getting Steam keys to current owners! As I get the keys from Steam & organize them, I'll add instructions here on how to redeem them.

I appreciate your patience -- I'm hoping this process will only take a few days (or less).

Desura Owners

IndieRoyale Owners
For those who want their IndieRoyale key now (they are a bit slow to uploading keys to your download page) do this:

Open up the Desura desktop client (not the web client), scroll down on the store page til you see all the links on the bottom. Click the larger button that says "Play". Find 3079, click the keys button, and click get key.

Should generate a key for you, but you will need to restart Steam to have it show up.

IndieGameStand & GamersGate
Keys have been uploaded to each site. You can redeem a Steam key on the site![/b]

Owners will be getting Steam keys via e-mail. All keys have been sent out -- if you haven't gotten a key & you are a BMT Micro owner, send me an e-mail: phr00t at gmail dot com.

Will we get a notice on Desura with the key that's where I bought my copy.

I already did upload a bunch of Steam keys to Desura, I'm just not sure on the method to redeem them yet. If you poke around in your Library, you may be able to grab a Steam key already from Desura. Once I figure out exactly how all that works, I'll post instructions -- been a busy week!

Tryed that but and got this message 'You need to get keys from Indie Royale where this game was purchased.' I got 3079 ages ago in the royale bundle so I don't get a steam key?

OK, I'm looking into getting Indie Royale customers Steam keys -- I was hoping Indie Royale customers could activate their Desura copy, and then get Steam keys from Desura. I'm working on it...

The way Desura works with Steam keys is that if you don't purchase on Desura, you don't get a key. If you got a Desura key from somewhere else, there's where you need to get the Steam key from too.

Hmm see if you can add the key to the Indie Royale Alpha collection #1 keys page? Towns added a steam key there after they got greenlit onto steam.

I'm waiting to hear back from Desura on how to get IndieRoyale keys out. I don't know/see a "InideRoyale Alpha collection #1" page at the moment.... but thank you for the suggestion!
