head tracking in DK1

I am able to start Shufflepuck Cantina with my DK1 but head tracking is not activated. In the Show Demo Scene, I can verify that head tracking works. Anyone else having problems with head tracking on the DK1?

I'm using v0.4.4, do I need to downgrade to 0.4.3? If so, is there an easy way to switch between 0.4.4 & 0.4.3 aside from uninstalling/installing each time you switch?

Hi, what do you mean by Head tracking? rotations or head movements? If's its head movements you're talking about its normal as DK1 does'nt support head movements tracking.
Have you turned on DK1 Legacy in the Rift's driver parameters? And by the way are you playing the regular game or the demo in the BETAS tab in the game's properties ?

You should be fine with 0.4.4 I guess, let us know if you still have troubles.

I am using the DK1. The head movements do nothing. Is it true that the DK1 does not support head tracking, such that when you look left or right, your view changes. As it is, when I look left or right, my view does not change.

Also, I loaded the regulard game, not the BETA version.

DK1 supports head rotations, such as turning your head right/left or up/down. It does not support head movements, like leaning left/right of leaning forwards. Unlike with the DK2, there is no camera to do head movements tracking. If this is what you describe as a problem it is related to your hardware's limitations.
If the game doesn't let you rotate your head ingame then it's a bug to fix.

Ok, as suggested earlier, could you make sure you have the latest oculus drivers, that they're set to DK1 legacy in extended mode and try to launch the game this way?
