XGA resolution not supported
apparently this game doesn't support XGA (1200 x 768) in full screen, and the game begins fullscreen...Halp?

In the meantime, I've set up a beta branch called 'notfullscreen' that points to an old version of the game that should work (the starting fullscreen thing is fairly new). If you right click on the game in your library, click on 'properties' and then 'betas', you should find it there.

thank you! that's really nice, but I forced it to window with alt+enter, so everything is fine, the game is looking really good!

The new version freezes at launch on my Macbook Pro. I don't see the described "notfullscreen" branch. Is there a way to launch it windowed?

Interestingly, it did work when I launched it from a terminal.

weird. I've occasionally had issues launching hte game on mac (it's on our buglist, but haven't yet figured out what the problem is) - can you try launching on steam again? If it still breaks, can you copy-paste the logs here? (/Users/[YourUserName]/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log - it only logs the last time the game was launched)

FYI, even when I launch from the command line, level 2.8 (expelled) freezes and gives me a different error when there are many particles on the screen:

I can get through level 2.8 if I turn resolution down to the minimum.

I was delighted to see version 0.7.1! Unfortunately, it seems to not do anything when I try to launch it on Mac OS, perhaps because the name of the executable in particulars_mac.app/Contents/ changed?

If I launch it manually, it's looking really good, guys. Silky smooth at high resolution with lots of particles on screen. I really appreciate the performance improvements. One small issue: at the top of my screen, it tells me to press something like <key|fb_input_binding> to report feedback.

Thanks! Yeah I'm not quite sure what's happening with the steam launch, will hopefully have that fixed soon.

The <key|fb_input_binding> stuff will get fixed eventually (to be honest we'll likely just remove it completely).
