I got Kings Bounty: The Legend as part of a Groupees bundle, and I love it!! Over 50hrs playing it.. I am now looking to play the rest of the series.
I also find it very addictive! I think it's just the quest to rank up, get more newer troops etc.. It's a lot of fun!
P,S: I am afraid to think how much more addictive this game COULD have been with some achievements implemented (so far, only Warriors of the North has achievements and full Steam support, and by that I mean Steam cloud service that other three games from the same franchise lack)
I play certain types of games, and throughout my whole gameplaying life, I have never played these types of games.. I always thought they looked boring and such.
I got Kings Bounty - The Legend and a whole load of other games through an online charity bundle from Groupees.
I LOVED IT!!! I played it for hours and hours each day, then played Crossworlds, Armored Princess and WOTN. They are a LOT OF FUN.
Do you think that is good idea (trying first one, after finished second)??. That's because I got it on Steam from SG (Armored Princess bought within IG7)
The first one is great, a little less units. I enjoyed the first 1 just as much as armored princess though
Because it does everything right. Its execution is legendary as the title suggests, and the story line is an epic retelling of every classic adventure.
I've been over on the HOMMVI thread after buying that bundle of dissapointment, urging people to forget about it and come play King's Bounty. This game keeps it real. We have options in how to deal with quests- kill em all? or perhaps talk our way out of things or into better fortunes before the inevitable fight. Customizing and optimization are diverse. There is even the ability to fail quests, something that has almost completely disappeared from gaming!
Thank you Mother Russia for 1C-Company. If you guys like this, try out Fantasy Wars.
The games are great but they do require time investment. Luckily I have a little bit of time left before starting undergrad studies, so I think I'll dive right in.
