How do I transport my troops over sea?
I am playing Germany mostly, because thats the biggest challenge = world domination
But that can't come true, since I have no idea how I transport my troops to England or America.
I dont care if thats with ships or planes, I only care if it works xD
Can a expert guide me here? ^_^

Well its rather simple really, if going by AI control on you're theatre comanders, they'll do it for you given the right materials, conditions, etc. Manually, which is what you're doing, have the transports (going by boat is the easiest invasion wise I'd say) go the port where your troops are. From there, click on the troops you wish to load and you'll see a little button on the right side (it will be next to the upgrade star and those options) with an arrow on it, it will say load onto transport. Still with me? Good, once those guys are loaded onto the transport click the transport, go to the port or plot of land you wish to invade and right click the plot, an option should come up of invasion. Easy at that! (even though its rather complicated in writing)

Notes!
-Invasion wise, its best that you have a full fleet with an invasion force of transports, to A. fend off attacks, and B. the captial ships will help with bombarding.
-When attacking another country, you're first goal is to take a port, whether you attack it directly or not depends on how fortified it is, but either way you need someway to get supplys to your invading troops, an airfield can also work but I believe it doesn't bring in as many supplies.
-Plan out the invasions! when I invade, I invade multiple parts, it helps with the threat of getting blocked in from all sides, it also splits up the defending troops in who they have to attack.
-If you have naval forces to invade with, use them, marines, naval infantry, they're meant for this!

That should do it from end. Anyone else pick up anything I missed. Happy Invading!
ya germany seems to be mostly timing driven. i mean u have so much to do it kinda hard some times to set up to do any thing. so what i do is , build tanks grps for a punch throw franch . i let the AI control my inftry. once i push to paris i take a army grp from the west and steal from the AI and take them to hamburg area . at this point u should have 14 or so transport ships. and if u protected ur ships u should have enough to get them to GB. i load up all 7 transports for one landing and 7 for another. i splitt my ships /no subs. and send them to hall and murbery (I FORGET THAT name of that port) i attack open land with 90 % of my men . i attck ports with just a man or 2 . once my land team lands i pull off the navel attack on the ports and let the land grp do it. once the take the port i tranport the rest of that army grp over. should take 3 round trips. if u do this early u dont need alot of men but if u wait u may need more. allso russia will be attacking u very soon. all IC should be going to east army before france falls. tell russia is dead. I all soo skipp most of south areas like yugo and greec , tell i done with russia . all so ur gona need to take them tanks u used in france to russia , and add heavyer tanks to that army. dont let the AI conrtol ur blizts . air is not realy worth the IC at this point ,as russia dont have alot of airports. what u have is enough. this is what i do theres many ways .
I'm sorry Ox but is English your primary language?
English is my primary language, don't you worry :) I will try out what you have said when I got time. I will tell you, if it shouldn't appear to work. If I dont contact you is it because, it's working ;)
Haha sounds good to me o7
Im having a hard time getting my transports to cross the ocean. They get about half way, then refuse to go any further.
Ships have a max. range they can travel. you should be able to see the distance from the home port of the fleet you have selected to the sea area you are hovering over and the fleets max. range on the right bottow corner of the screen I think.
I have launched an invasion but my heavy and medium armour doesn't have the option to load onto the ships, does anyone know what to do.
They are too big for the ships. Either make the divisons smaller or get bigger ships
Each transport has an initial carrying capacity of 40.
Every unit has a specific carry weight.

So, it's a matter of simple mathematic's. If a division weight 15, then two can fit on a single transport etc. You can't split units so the total carry weight of a transport fllet has to be high enough to carry all the units you want to transport.

The total weight of a group of units can be discovered by hovering your mouse over the Sea Transport Load button at the top of the grouped unit menu. Typically a full Corps of infantry weighs just under 200. So, to transport it will require 5 x transports in a single fleet.

Note: if you split the transports into two fleets of 2 and 3 neither would have the capacity to carry the entire corps as a single force, so you wont be able to load them. All the transports must be in the same fleet. Although you could split the Corps into small groups and fit them on seperate transports.

A.I commanders can be really fussy about launching amphibious assaults, might be best to take manual control of your invasion forces.

Having watched Quill's 'USA Let's Play' and seeing the problems he was having with the AI invasion routine I never even bothered trying to get the AI to do it. It's much more reliable to just move your troop convoy off the coast, select the troops on it and tell them to get-off and hit the beach of your choice. You can even attack multiple beaches if the sea area covers more than one.
