Bought complete pack - not sure if DLC is enabled

Greetings. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and your replies.

I bought the complete pack on Steam which should include Sempre Fi, For the Motherland and a bunch of sprite details etc. When I start the game a box pops up with 3 titles and the cd-keys. I gather that is the custom scenarios like Sempre Fi.

My question is this: are the DLC automatically active after installation for first play? Also, what is different with Sempre Fi and For the Motherland from the original? Do I choose to play them in-game or in a menu on Steam? I am rather new to Steam and HOI3, so all help is greatly appreciated.

I would like to know this as well. have no idea if the dlc is active or not. Do i have to activate the dlc?

Hi, I bought this Collection for the daily deal so I am new too. I also got a couple of other DLC spritepacks.
When I run the game, Steam shows me my serial numbers so I suppose they will come in handy when I play co-op or other multiplayer sessions as I haven't been asked for one yet.
If I read correctly in the store pages I believe the DLC is activated for me because the loader shows me the name of the expansion pack Their Finest Hour and also on the main menu.
So the DLC is expansion packs that add extra features into the main game. For example when I go into the Intelligence panel during a game, I see a button for "attempt coup" and that is listed as one of the features of an included DLC expansion pack. Semper Fi DLC adds stuff that increases detail. Not knowing the vanilla original version means we n00bs will take the fully pimped version of HoI3 as standard and won't see the expansions' added "new" details.

ok thx. i baught the expansion theri finest hour, and i saw that the dlc was properly activated. So i presume that every dlc is properly activated. thx.
