Multiplayer question
I'm curious. Having only tried multiplayer once (co-op with a friend where I just had him commanding a few divisions while I handled everything else), how do you play multiplayer. I don't mean technically, but logistically? I'm constantly pausing the game every day or so to adjust things (to handle production, research, new units, events, etc...) and hourly during wartime everytime a battle starts and ends. When you play multiplayer, how do you handle that? Would the game not be horribly slow with each player pausing so much, especially when both sides need to do major order of battle updates.

I have only played Multiplayer a few times, and what me and my friend would do is go quite slow setting up our armies and then during the fighting we would set the speed to 3x, to allow for any quick unit movements. It's never going to be perfect, but I find a good sense of communication really helps, espiecally if the other player needs to go faster/slower than you

I'm so much more of a co-op player than an against player, that if I was to do multiplayer it would be with someone else where each of us controlled a front/part of a front or something. One person handling russia, while the other took care of the mediteranean and all other naval groups.

There are ai control options just above the production sliders by diffault its < maunual control > but you can switch it to prioritise rienforcements supplies or upgrades (not the production ai button)

Trust me, I know, but I prefer to micromanage everything. It's a disease I tell you.
