What has been your biggest BATTLE ever!?
My biggest battle ever was when I was playing as the Italians using Black Ice mod. I was invading Yugoslavia and Romania joined on the side of Yugoslavia. As I was attacking the Yugoslavian capital, I noticed the enemy putting over a 400,000+ soldiers there on the first month. I only had 300,000+ soldiers attacking, so i pulled more troops from my other fronts and had over 800,000+ soldiers now.... As the enemy saw i brought more soldiers into the battle, they brought even more from their fronts....By the main point of the battle, i had over 1.2 millions troops into the battle and the enemy had about 900k-1 millions troops in there.... It was hell.,., Non stop air bombings too.... I set my HQ's priority into a full offense..... This battle took over an entire year, and by the time i finally won..... I have lost over 900,000+++ troops and the enemy lost about 700,000k!

Battle of Moscow 1936, Cheated Custom France game, Made the Eu in puppets and invaded the USSR, I sent the 7th Mechanised Division under the command of General Piquard, by the time i saw what the division was faceing i nearly laughed in insanity, over 2 Million newly made soviet forces as i left instant construction on. i Sent the 8th Medium armour tank army and the entire Paris Hq = Europe command's Reserves roughly 500 000 men to the battle, the battle lasted from mid 36 to late 38, After the Fall Of Leningrad and Rostov the soviets further reinforced moscow with half a million reserves while my outnumbered 5/1 forces recived my elite army that caputred berlin in the war to puppet it, the 7th mechanised special operations stratigic reserve. Redeployed from the middle east after campaigning in the caucus. bu the end of the battle around 8 Million soiders died, as both forces reinforced the standing troops, It was a loss for my forces but the Ruskies did not gain the iniatve till early 42, and the kept it till 48 when they entred Paris. it was a brutal fight and the total IC cost Estimate i put was over 1000 for Me alone due to the massive amounts of reinforcements needed.

just avoid big battles.
on a front do initiate diversion/block attacks.
when on offensive create "unit sponges" with paras.
on the schwerpunkt attack with a few inf divs (5 to 10) and exploit and encircle with mobile units afterwards.
the worls can be yours on very hard around 1940 if you play GER.

Biggest battle would probably playing for the day with multiple reloads of saves only to have the game repeatedly crash. That's a battle in of itself right there and been for a long time which Paradox never fixes.

My biggest battle is still in progress but i want to tell it ^^. In 1941 or 42 the japanese forces conquered a big part of the phillipines. I want to recounquer the Phillipines and use the Land to invade Taiwan and the japanes Mainland. The 1. Eastern Marine Corps landing by Malina and after a few battles the biggest Part of the island was free, but in the North were still Troops of Japan.I went more troops to the Phillipines and air support. Now 300.000 american Soldiers and 20.000 phillipin Soldiers + 50 % of the American fleet fighting against the same Number of japanese Soldiers and the entire japanese Fleet. Thousand of man died and many ships sunk in the big battle in the Phillipine Mountains since now 1 year and 7 Months.
(Sorry by mistakes my english is not the best but i want to tell this ^^)

When the soviet union invaded nazi germany in 1944 as i was getting bogged down in my invasion of America. 2 Mechanised corps, a mountain corps and the militia reserve corps (220,000 men aprox) Held off the entire Red Horde of over 2 million. By 1945 i was pushing the Reds back out of Poland and had Recaptured Washington but it certainly tipped the balance of power for a while.
