!!! WILL EDIT AFTER FINISHING THE GAME !!!
In short, I really enjoyed Type:Rider, but there are some points I would love to see... revisited?
The graphics are nice, they fit on the style of game and yes it is undeniable that Limbo played a strong inspirational role here, which for me is only positive since the topic of the game makes it a whole new thing and I really enjoy this type of "ambient scrolling";
Don't even think they copied Limbo, because they sure didn't, it is just really the atmosphere that gets similar points!
As a graphic designer and typography lover, I HAD to have this game and give it a try. I had little difficulty understanding the game story and in my opinion everything was connected in a extremely smart fashion, but I do realize that people without "education" towards typography/printing history might not link the things as I do;
Now, to claim "historical" as a tag to describe the game, a little bit more of in-game action, other than reading the chapters about each Type, would also be requiered.
Simple commands are okay, but sadly, very simple and short levels. But still they are very beautifull! Adding a little extra of content to each level and making it a little bit more challenging / long would be a perfect modification to the game!
It is okay.
My overhall thinking is that the game could:
a) have a major update;
b) have a TYPE:RIDER 2 to prove everyone how talented the devs are really ;)
