Some News about the Addon
Hi everyone.
We're really thankfull for your response for Professional Farming 2014.
Positive or negative - we take every opinion or feedback into
consideration and we promise to expand the world of Professional Farming
2014 even further to deliver new functionalities and fullfill your
wishes and demands.
Currently we're working hard to create major DLC for our game -
Proffessional Farming 2014 Deluxe, which is scheduled for release this
spring. The game will feature whole new world to explore - a 4x4 km
landscape with northern american environment, plants and architecture.
Also you may expect:
- new plant growth system, that is based on many parameters calculated
for each square meter of each field area: soil class, field surface
state, seeding time, fertilizing, weather and watering, pests weeds and
more.
- new animal breeding mode, which allows you to feed, breed and sell
animals and animal products, such as milk or eggs. We'll also add whole
new pack of machines for forage crops - mowers, tedders, rakes, bale
wrappers and more.
- new species of root vegetables to plant, grow and crop: sugar beets
and potatoes. Of course they will come with new machines (planters,
toppers, mulchers and harvesters) and farm upgrades that will allow you
to store them.
- major upgrade to power distribution system, that calculates power to
wheel based on current engine revs and power and selected gear to make
tractor driving even more realistic. Each machine will also be upgraded
with more realistic weight and operating force system.
- brand new NPC system that will bring more life to the environment.
This time you'll not only see your neighbours do their work - you'll be
able to help them.

Sounds promising , is this a new game with new game price or DLC with dlc price tag??

Tidus084 14 lutego 2014 o 11:59
When i have some informations about the Price i will Post them here. There will be an Addon and a Deluxe Edition available.

Yeah see I figured something like this was going to happen.
So the owners of this version are now out in the cold while you complete a new version and try and pawn it off on people,a typical UIG move...NO THANKS!

I agree

so it sounds like it would just be better to make a new game that is not ruched

they never said that the current players are out in the cold .. Nor did they say the patches would stop. come on. Time will tell do not jump to conclusions.

sounds good, i'm in.

Depending on what is added, I'm not sure I'd want to pay anything, or if the update is significant, I might be willing to pay an additional $5 Dollars. Maybe $10. But I'm not sure if I'd pay more than that. I don't believe it would be in the interest of UIG or Playway to charge more than an additional $9.99 (in US Dollars) for the additional content, especially if they plan to continue to support the software. I would recommend a direct economic comparison between PF2014 and FS2013. To be competitive, they need to either match or beat the price of FS2013, AND they need to be consistent with patches as well. The fact that they are already announcing expansions and updates when there are still fairly major bugs in the game (including spelling errors, problems with hired workers, disappearing crops, etc), bothers me.

I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible and I do want Professional Farmer 2014 to succeed. I'm sure I'll spend $10 bucks for the expansion when it's released, especially if they implement the features they've announced. I think that will REALLY add a lot to the existing game, and I'm excited for that. As a player, and as a person who has a good management background, I sincerely hope they are taking our suggestions seriously. I wish them the best and will look forward to the update.

I doubt they plan this as a free dlc, actually this should have been in the full game to start with hence my eariler opinion this game should have been in beta.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but at the same time do to some extent. I think that if they are to update the game to be comparible in function and options to FS2013, then an extra $10 dollars might be worth it. Farming Sim was originally $29.99, plus $19.99 for the Titanium Edition add-on. I think it would still be hard pressed to compare the two games at the higher price point, but I'm hoping the additions can get the two games to a competitive level to each other.

I agree, i could spend some money for new features. But animals / feeding has been advertised and is what we already paid for. So why should i pay to get missing features??
Dask_BR 16 lutego 2014 o 12:19
This news has already some expected date?
AlbertKropp 18 lutego 2014 o 11:15
Oh C'mon i new it.... so i allready spent 20$ on the game now they want more and no garantees that we won't have to spend more after that and no garrentees that this "DLC" will work any better than this game has so far.... i don't know if it's worth it...

And they still haven't adressed the game stability issues this "DLC" might slow the game down even more....

This is the same promise I recieved from the CEO of Playway about the Construction machines game. I was told a patch to fix all the horrible issues that game has was very soon coming.
Of course the truth is that NO PATCH was released ,instead they put out Car Mech Simulator.

So just like UIG's last publisher (Actalogic) it seems PLayway is willing to abandon customers and games in preference for quick income from other sources.
