Well, I'm sure the Groupees Build-A-Greenlight Bundle will get keys since that was kinda the point.
In fact, I'm so sure of this that I went and activated my Steam key for this game from that bundle :)
It's the old-school Mario / Rayman type of platformer. IIRC there are 3 difficulty levels. I played it on the hardest from the beginning, and it was pretty hard in places. IIRC you have a maximum of 3 health/hearts, and the difficulty impacts how much you start with, with hardest having you start a level (and checkpoint after death) with only 1.
You regain 1 heart every 2000 (i think) points that you score, which means you can be strategic to try to have just enough points at the start of a checkpoint to *almost* get the next heart, so that when you die, you only have to score a few points before you have 2 (on Hard).
This does mean that on the hardest difficulty settings you can't make any mistakes with bosses - get hit once, and it's start the fight over. That was probably the hardest thing about Hard.
And as you play the story mode, you unluck various challenges modes / levels, but most of those I found too challenging :)
I also put up a mobygames description: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/oozi-earth-adventure
For that, you'll have to play Out There Somewhere and Ery's Action :)
Congrats.
So wait, is this easy as Rayman, or fun as?
Rayman (the first one) was super hard. I beat Super Meat Boy's Light World at least, but Rayman I stopped trying. Oozi on Hard was far easier than Rayman Forever.
The challenges and arcade mode on the other hand are very difficult and will keep anyone bussy for a long time before you manage to compleet them all.
These games dont look bad but it seems they are more of a puzzle platformers?, personally i prefure more action oriented platformers.
Yeah, those two are puzzle platformers - except the final boss shmup section.
Now, is Oozi precision or puzzle platformer? I have wish-listed it. Too many new platformers this past week. Vector, Steaworld, Ms Splosion Man and Wooden Sen'sey. Need to complete this backlog before I proceed, by which time the Christmas sale will be upon us.
Not puzzle and about as "precision" as Super Mario.
Not sure about that. Never played Super Mario.
