Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition playthrough using same character as in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Did a playthrough of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition with the goal of continuing in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, and now that it's available here I am! Playing as a Kensai (to be Kensai/Mage) and using some of the BG2Tweaks and the Unfinished Business mod, and I intend to go through all of the new content.

Really interesting stuff so far, Hexxat especially.

I'm interested to know how well the mods for the original version work on bgee.... what's been your experience there? Have you run into any bugs?

There were some issues with mods for BG:EE, but they might have been resolved now (I started that playthrough on launch when they had quite a few bugs). Check the official forum for an up to date list of compatible mods.

For BG2:EE I've only had one minor bug due to mods, they stated during development that they want mods compatibility as a priority and it shows.

WeiDU progress still hasnt made all mods compatible as far as i know, that goes for both EE editions.

Have you tried the more "heavy" mods? such as NPC ones or Ascension?

I'm mainly using BG2Tweaks and Unfinished Business (sans the kits, which caused an error), will probably add Ascension soon (the devs have said that Ascension will work).

I'd been hoping to use the npc banters in bgee... but apparently some serious engine problem impeded the quick conversion of that mod to the new game.

You shold think about putting your vids in the video section instead of the discussion section where they will get buried.

Unfortunately due to the way Steam is set up you can't add videos to games you don't own on Steam, and since I'm using the Beamdog versions I can't do that.
