black screen after start up.

Was plaing the game on the day i brought it. then the next day got to the game selection screen clicked on one black screen. i have tried numerous solutions to no avail. please help.

Had this problem too when trying out character builds in ToB (to see what they will be like at that level) And if you get the 'handicon', you can just drag it to the left of the screen and click on one of the (invisivle) symbols.. and you get it going again. If you just get the spinning windows wheel you have to ctrl alt del out of the game.. was really frustrating the first 10 times it happened!
