what a pleasant surprise to find out that all of the "help out the wild mages" side quests can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ completed if you do them in a certain order. no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warning at all. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic.

i'm playing as a good party this time around and am currently in the middle of the red wizard's enclave and i am sorely tempted to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ murder neera and delete this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest line from my journal entirely. what an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

I too was unpleasantly surprised by this at first. It is annoying, but after looking back on it, imo it's a bit cool as well. Feels more realistic. A big event getting in the way and cutting out smaller ones, not knowing which one is said big event.

Of course, now that I do know, I'll never be hit by this little surprise again, which appeals to the completionist in me, but makes the quester, the story-driven player, a little sad. Ah, well.
