What we need is a video, I'm curious how big the levels are.
I thought I was the only one who remembered that game! If you say "Crush the Castle" today, nobody knows what it is... but everyone seems to know Angry Birds. I hope Armor Games got some money from their success.
But yeah... a video would be very nice. Maybe even a demo!
To briefly answer your question, it's not really like Cannon Brawl in that it's not a multi-player game. You could say it's more along the lines of Angry Birds/Crush the Castle, but with more explosions, destructible environments, and with a card game under the covers.
If you'd like to see a video, check out our website http://amazingatom.com/
There, you can view the trailer, release notes, and some more in-game shots.
Thanks! Sounds interesting. I'll check it out. =)
EDIT:
After viewing the trailer I can see why its like Angry Birds/Crush the Castle.
If you made this multiplayer it would be very similar to Scorched Earth.
With saying that, any chance of having multiplayer support?
Ditto.
The big question is what makes this game different and more enjoyable than the multitude of others out there? I'm on the fence about buying it right now but the CCG mechanic could be an interesting addition, building your own 'deck of destruction' and adding random luck of the draw to a game.
I'll go check that video out now...
I agree. The first type of "adjust power, angle, and shoot" game I've played was a game called Artillary Duel on the Commodore 64. It was such a simple game, but a lot of fun at the time.
The only reason why it seemed similar to Angry Birds is because you're shooting down structures instead of an enemy tank. I acknowledged in this thread that this game seems different enough to be its own unique game. But you can't deny that there are some similarities.
If possible a Multiplayer would be AMUZING.
Fully agree. I really like the card concept. Im going to pick it up.
