How long to beat this game?
The "howlongtobeat.com" says, that it's only 4.5 hours long. Is it true?

That seems like a very exact number... My first playthrough would have been more than that, for sure. Once you beat the game you can collect all the scientists and gems in each level, as well as compete for times on the leaderboards. Even if leaderboards aren't your thing, it's really fun exploring the levels for all the hidden secrets. I wouldn't worry about the length - it's a quality experience reguardless!

I've played for 3.xx hours as of yet and almost completed every level but not with all gems, so that sounds about right but a 100% completion would take longer i imagine.

I guess that sounds about right, but god man the thing is just such a joy to play; I can't recommend it enough, and I hope people aren't put off by hearing of its length. I really don't like that people value games that way, but even if you do I still think it's hard to argue that about 4 hours of entertainment is not good value for $6 or $7.

Yea it's so smooth and awesome, everything feel so right, seriously... i really hope PixelJunk Shooter 2 will come too <3

I don't like time = value either and even so the game is very entertaining and amazing.

I would say longer than that if you aim to complete it fully ( All gems and scientists rescued ). Even though I've played it before on PS3, I still can't seem to find all the gems on first playthrough >.<

I played 2 hours and finished 2 locations. How many locations in game?

4.5 hours is just about the time it took me to beat it on PS3, and man it sure was worth the money too (I think it was like 20 bucks back then too)

Took me about 7 hours, but I 100% it. You won't be dissapointed. It's great fun.

I would have paid $50 for this in the 90s easily.
