Two Minute Triceps?
Any tipps on that? 1:43 is my best time so far, it's getting really ridiculous at that mark vs. Horde, though. First the massive swarm of normal mooks, then volleys of arrows hailing down on you and I think a couple of giants pop up as well.

I dunno really, but the controls seem kinda slow at that point to counter all that and I am not too comfortable with the hitdetection either - even with nearly full health before that part, I just get bumped into stuff and go from alive and kicking to shameful death in the blink of an eye. Mashing harder didn't work out for me ;)

I don't see much room for improvement (literally speaking) - how did the 1.2% do it?

OKAY, the second try after whining on here I actually did it. LOL.
2:11 minutes vs. Horde! Yeah.

If anybody wonders, I turned off Vsync and it was suddenly a bit more responsive - I instantly had some tearing which is a major bummer.

I'm also really curious how everyone handles horde mode. For me, I use the spin attack for lots of crowd control, and then the stab on the giants so I can bounce away from them. After a minute, my thumb is screaming.

I think the stab is most useful. Enemies take damage when something flies into them. You can even 1-Hit K.O. a giant that way. Either by hurling so many enemies into him that he dies or by knocking him back over the edge. Spin attack is useful when the giants come too close.

The 90s to 120s part is really really hard and I quit after I got the achievement. Would be nice if someone could record a 3-4 minute run of this :)

What even happens at four minutes? Enemies start parachuting in with assault rifles?

I can only assume that two of the final snake bosses appear.

Congrats on making it, Alubath! (Welcome to the 2 minute club! :)

Lasting for any length of time after 2 minutes is really impressive, it doesn't change after that.

@LowBitLovecraft: I think the Elbowsmash is rather useful too, insta-killing all small dudes AND you get to cancel it straight into slashes on the ground. For the most part I did this: stand one block lower than the advancing enemies and just smash away at those "corners" - If you do the stab move as blizzilla suggested you can take out some extra guys too, while doing this - but I found that but jump-striking them there you can minimize damage, you only gotta be careful for your backside and the arrows, which you can easiley take care of by whirlspinning through them.

@glsilverfish: Thanks. I am just glad I did it, not feeling going for more than the 2:00 minutes really, just like blizzilla. I have to say, I really love the atmosphere of the whole scene though - Episode 1 itself could have used a few more moments like that (but I LOVE the build up to the serpent lord battle).

I really like this mod, so simple yet so addictive. My first day of playing and I already got to 2:16! Any chance we can get at least one more stage like this?

Maybe we can get an update for the mode when a new chapter is released? Possibly introduce enemies from other chapters after 3 minutes?
