A great mechanically based game in which you control a solar-powered hovercraft that needs to, quite literally, race the sun in order to keep going while dodging obstacles in an infinite runner with a 3d design and incremental speed. The game's challenging and has maps randomly generating every 24 hours so things are continually fresh. This scheme allows for the best of both worlds: It allows you to learn the map on a single playing session figuring out what works best in a given situation, while changing the world up every day allows the game to feel like a fresh experience every time.
The controls are some of the best I've seen since Super Meat Boy, feeling responsive and allowing for twitch-reactions that make the game feel fair no matter how many obstacles they throw your way.
Unfortunately, the game has an unlock progression system that works to its detriment, having to grind your way to level 5 to unlock the simplest game mechanics and up to level 25 to unlock everything by completing challenges that are in the best cases unintrusive (ie. score X points) and at worst hinder the experience (ie. only turn left the entire game).
If you can pass your way through that grind though, and you'll probably be motivated enough to do so by the games polished design and controls, This game will provide with enough variety through the unlocks to keep you coming back and back again.
