i would be cool...
i think it would be cool to be able to create things from scratch and not just edit them so you could add to the games items, monsters and so on... just my two cents :)

The game will soon support external model creations made in Qubicle (minddesk.com) where you can make anything one cube at a time. aside from that, Vox will have all the necessary tools for modding.

Why? Isn't internal editor enough? Also Qubicle is quite expensive.

The internal editor is enough for doing anything when its all about editing, howver, for some people using a new method to design models can be a bit taxing. Took me 2 hours to make a model in the game when it takes me 20 minutes from scartch in Qubicle. Also, we want the game to be as open ended as possible for people so that we don't restrict methods of mod creation.

y2bcrazy: I am assuming the home edition of Qubicle would be sufficient for the game correct?

At least for us playahs. 40 Is okay, 80 is only if I am getting paid to make stuff :P

Actually, the free version of qubicle is enough for everything I've made so far. Nothing exceeds the 50^3 maximum allowed in teh free edition. Home edition would simply be the total package allowing you to do everything you want (shape selections, multiple matrixes).

I can go on a huge discussion about which to get and how to use it but to be straight with you guys, the free version is enough for modding.

Well when it is implemented I'll be trying either way. If my builds get too big for the free britches, I'll fork out the moola.

Also, thanks for the information :D
