Just making sure before going for it.

No issues

No sound for me and a few others. Problem for me on YDKJ 1, 2 and sports. Its a great game but no sound is a big issue. Looks like problem only affects some though....

No issues here, working sound on Win 8

Getting it today then. Thanks!

I think so. It runs fine and can provide a couple hours of party entertainment. Cheers.

Yes, it's absolutely worth it. My only "issue" is that this isn't the original version. This version has been slightly modified in a way that I don't like (different question number intros) but I guess that's why it's "XL".

If you're thinking about grabbing it, the Humble Store has the full package for 5$ at the moment. :)
If you ask for €uro: This version seems to be different than the original European versions!

For example take care that it DOES NOT contain German localisation.
Also UK-players have been noticed differences as it seems…

It's probably not worth to try if you are from outside the US…

You can have fun with it if your English is decent, but yeah, some questions are really hard or next to impossible, even if your (American) English is solid.

It's solid but challenge is only a good thing. I think that really hard to impossible thing goes well along with the name.

Thanks everyone for their input! Will try it next time I'm throwing something up ^^

no issues, if you love trivia, worth it.

Don't bother with it if you are not from the USA. Quite a few questions referr to "stuff" that people outside the USA are not familiar with. For example: knowing that a hamburg from something called "Wendy's" is rectangular, not round (wtf), or knowing that a particular play from the NFL (which few people outside the USA are interested in) is called a .... , or knowing the USA Monopoly version (since Monopoly has a different version with different names for each country).

Now, if the questions were more related to stuff that most people should know, I would not have minded. In any case, the game is BAD.

Thanks. Still yet to have the partylike situation to end up playing the game. Good to know so we'll be prepared ^^

What? The intros are exactly the way I remember them being.
