loved the desura version!
congrats devs to getting on steam!
i'll definitely get this at some point though right now my 'to play' list is so full i wouldn't get around to it at some point.

do you plan on adding content to it later? dlc more worlds? maybe even some kind of steamworks / level editor? or is it complete as is?

Cool I was thinking a level editor/world builder would be a great addition to this game. Glad to hear it.

Will previous buyers from desura receive steam key?

The game on Desura is simply called Qbeh, and this game (Qbeh-1) is actually a prequel to that. Qbeh-1 is a much bigger game than Qbeh, with more levels, different types of cubes and lots more secrets.
The original Qbeh that's on Desura is actually available for free =)

Is there any chance that that version could be added to Steam? Would be nice to have them both in the same place.

@Woos What is with the linux version theres a depot but theres no linux in the os list?

@Chika Oglue: I doubt we'll be able to get the first Qbeh onto Steam. I've been having plenty of trouble just to get the soundtrack on Steam and it would require a whole separate approval process for a much smaller, much less polished (not to mention free) game. Sorry!

@nifker: Unfortunately, Linux isn't supported yet. We've been delaying the level editor a lot and people keep asking about that, and with our current difficult financial situation it's difficult enough to keep work on that going so I think that we're striving to get that out first. It's labor that falls on our coder's shoulders though, so I'm speaking for him at the moment. That said, as far as I know, Linux support is still planned, so hang tight!

Definitely interested in a Linux version! Though I tend to mostly only play gamepad games, so hopefully a keyboard or mouse isn't needed (the Partial Controller Support icon is never very clear).

the desura version, on the level Temple is so annoying. It took me like 20 tries too get past all those jumps to the top. I FELL ON THE THIRD TO LAST FREAKING JUMP!

This game is no longer getting supported. So the answer is never.
