  • New minimap icons for Heroes.

Still kind of difficult to see, especially if some players choose to downscale the mini-map portion of the HUD later on.

I think the issue lies solely in two things: you are using purely circular hero icons, unlike the much more personalized "silhouettes" you see being utilized so successfully in DOTA 2.

Also, if you choose to stick with the circles, note that League of Legends' icons are much larger in relation to their proportion within the minimap, albeit at the cost of slightly obscuring other icons such as jungle creature or tower indicators.

Not exactly sure when this update was made to the map, but I love the new look of the Moonbloom. It's got a nice ethereal feel (kind of like a foil card) and blends well with leaves scattered around it. Awesome!

It blew me away, too, especially since it stood out so clearly against its more archaic backdrop haha; I think it was implemented with the update before this one, when quote, "ongoing visual improvements to various map elements" were enacted.

Those sneaky devs XD

The map is undergoing such massive revisions that I don't have the time to list all the details. Expect similar polish changes to the map for the next several updates.

That's good to hear, guys; anything past one step at a time would be overkill, I think

Honestly, if it was up to us then glitzy graphics wouldn't really factor into our enjoyment of the game anyway, but not all future consumers will be as discerning =P
