Now, I wrote this quickly, and without much detailed thought, so... Don't hate if it sucks. The individuals in the story are those who were in General Chat at the time of inspiration when I began talking to myself for longer than I'd like to admit, then decided upon doing this instead!
The days began to fuse, as if time itself no longer existed. Only the next match, a new battle, a fresh start, and perhaps a fresh face. My timeless existence in this virtual world began to be nothing more than a hazy nightmare I was unable to awake from.
Until that day... The day I will never forget... The day....it all ended.
I was sitting around, chatting as usual with the few familiar faces I've come to know, and a few new ones I began to familiarize myself with. The all too usual feel of quiet and quite dry conversation. Me finding myself realizing we are caught in repeat.
“The monotony must be broken!”, I exclaimed. The silence seemed to get louder after I stated such an obvious issue. I could feel the eyes rolling. Flustered, I mumbled, “Fine, be a bunch of dull asses by yourselves”, and to my surprise I suddenly heard a familiar voice shout, “Why don't we go have a picnic!”. I was a bit shocked to hear such an odd suggestion from Professor Jinx, but I assumed she had humble intentions. Perhaps because no one was speaking up and She knew she had an obligation to be that voice of authority.
Immediately the others who were present at the time sparked interest in Jinx's idea! “Great plan Jinx! I'll follow you anywhere!”, barked ghettoninja. “I don't want to involve myself in such a ridiculous attempt at doing something other than me quietly sitting here in silence, such as my namesake”, said Funeral in his soft-spoken, yet firm voice. “......” Jyke yelled with excitement beyond words!
Of we went to have our Picnic. We decided upon setting up camp near the corner brush in bottom lane, it seemed like a beautifully secluded area for us all to enjoy our lovely picnic. We didn't bring much, mostly just some Moss and a few Fungal Spores. We also got to enjoy some delicious Sea Foam for desert. All-in-all, the picnic was a success!
….Until...out of no-where it seemed a massive Troll descended upon us as we had just finished packing up our leftovers. He was an ugly beast, fearsome. He had a blood-lust in his eyes that looked as if no amount of flesh and bones and blood could quench his bottomless appetite.
We cowered in fear...Funeral was the first to accept his fate (For obvious reasons). We soon followed suit. With all of us done making our peace with the lives we've lived as the Troll approached us, suddenly, Jinx jumped up, as if an imaginary light-bulb had just lit up above her head, I could see the cartoonish grin on her face when she simply walked up to this soul-devouring beast and said, “Would you care to join us?”.
….and just like that the Troll was just simply so relieved at the fact that someone had finally just talked to him instead of assuming he wants to kill everyone and just attacking him for his treasure, that he now simply hands out his treasure to any passer-by who will simply wave and smile.
