The decision was an inevitable one.
Everyone tries to get into the MOBA market and almost everyone has failed to last in it. Once there is a strong playerbase in most games, it's hard to make any headway.
This is true for most any genre. Look at how many games fell to the might of WoW.
This was my first MOBA that I actually enjoyed and wasn't chased away from. I started playing in EA and will miss this game once its gone.
Breaking up is hard to do. I just have to promise myself not to cling to the word "currently".
Amen.
You did all you could, mate! The devs couldn't have asked for much more than that ;D
♥
Please dont think I want this game to fail. Even though I only played this game for a couple days when right after TB covered it. I wanted the game to succeed just like most of you guys. The gamer side of me really like story of indie dev success story, through hard work and labor. It just when I am courious and check how many people are playing it, the business side of me kicked in.
I hope the devs make it through this alright and go on to make their next game, and you guys find your next game that you really enjoy playing like this one.
Just want to echo the sentiment of other players. This was the first moba I enjoyed and I have the devs and the community to thank for that.
I hope the best for IronClad in the future; the level of community interaction and hard work you all put in has earned my support for whatever you guys go for next.
Thanks for all the great games and memorable moments!
I wish the best for you IC.
I hope your next project has a lot more success than this one
