A Different Type Of Platformer
If your looking for a straight forward platformer this is not for you. It's a very strange game that goes at a very slow pace it makes you feel like you are only needed 10% of the time.

I've not made my mind up yet about this but so far it's taking a lot for me to really get into it.

That's pretty vague. Why not say what it is? A platformer game where you pick up items and use them on different things to proceed with some platforming in it. Its basically a point-and-click with platforming and chase mechanics with plenty of humor in it.

It's not platformer. It's adventure.

It looks a lot like The Cave, no?

It falls somewhere in between platformer and point-and-click adventure.

Hmmm I would say that The Cave is more puzzle driven than an adventure. Like you have rooms that you need to fix in order to advance. Here somehow it's more story based and then you have to figure something out... after you heard stuff.
