Chapter brains?
Can someone explain to me pls what are the number of brains on the chapters in the chapter select menu? Are they the brains of the people that you can mind read? If so how come i always am missing a few even if I mind read all the characters on the map in a certain chapter?

Yes mind reading. Sometimes, they are hidden. Like skulls in the water.

If you are having difuculty reading every single mind in the game I STRONGLY suggest you replay the chapter & read every single mind (don't worry thugs/agents they don't count) In the chapter select screen, there is a number below the chapter you're selecting (Note that the first two/three chapters don't count as you cannot read their minds yet.) that is the total of minds you've read throughout the main campain/story. In order to gain the achivement "A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste", you MUST replay the chapter & read every single mind, even though you've already read every single one. Each chapter has a map in which shows you the locations of each characters (NOTE: Some characters only show up on certain ocasions, for example; there's a scientist that appears later in the game that is currently building an anti-nuclear helmet, if you activate the event that occurs there, the scientist goes away so be clear on that) On another note be sure to locate every secret (like the pipes that fast fowards you to a loaction) & read every mind. Doing so get you every single achivement. I guess this is boring you for long enough so I conclude saying I hope this works for you & note you can read your own mind in chapter 9. Cheers

The exclamation mark you are talking about (isn't it a question mark btw?) shows, i presume, the location of stickers. In the chapter 4 it should point the fire sticker which is unlimited.
