What the ♥♥♥♥?
^ This guy managed to turn on his computer and log into Steam?
Best attempt at translation:
this game is sh*t, no one plays, I bought this and the first game.
I guess?
Sounds legit. So...he bought a horrible game and then bought its sequel? He's clearly an optimist.
We have a saying where i live and it goes like this; A mule will never bump into the same stone twice.
Looks like he isn't a mule.
Anyways, another early acces game? Steam is turning into a alpha seller with pish posh games. I wish i could unlock the games i bought from steam so i didn't have to use this crap anymore.

*sigh*
See, thing is, those games would still exist, still in their alpha states, even if Steam wasnt doing this. The main difference though is that alot of them would have *much* more trouble getting the word out and getting the players they need when it's time to start the testing process. Steam can make things easier on them (and also potentially to give more sales), so in the end, you end up with a better product.
In other words, it's a win/win situation. This is how I've always viewed it, anyway. Though I'm also used to doing alpha testing and such.
Maybe they need to make it easier for players to filter these from "finished" games, but still, if it's THAT annoying.... dont bother with them. It's not like it's hard to figure out which is which.
And really..... "pish posh"? Just..... what? No, you know what, I actually dont even want to know.
Now as for THIS game, the concept is interesting, but probably best to wait on it. I like Mobas and all, but the one huge problem with them is that they need quite a large number of players to really work, otherwise you get lots of situations of not being able to get a match going.
The issue is that if you wait on it, the player base won't grow - if everyone waits, it will just stick as it is. So I encourage you to join in. We'll be making playdates so that people can actually play with the dev team and we can get good feedback and get things moving.

This is not a new practice. Ultima Online did this many many years ago.
This is 4 months of work with 7 people. Matchmaking servers cost a lot to set up. So do lots of art assets for new ships, pilots, etc.
Thanks for your concerns,

Hmm, you have a good point there.
Allright, I might grab it in the next day or two then. Though my own schedule is not likely to work for scheduled games as I'm typically only awake at night. Still, this looks like my sort of thing.
