Game keeps crashing
I am very dissapointed in this game. I have the WIndows version and one out of every three games I play in it ends with the game crashing with a thread error. THis makes it very hard to get into it knowing that at any second I could be kicked out of the game for no reason I can discern. I hope a fix for this is in the works.

Hey there. Thanks for the feedback. We have not had a report of this before, there have been a few problems but were generally crash bugs in the code. Can you give me any more information about the error? If it is a thread error it could be system specific so if you let me know your system specs that would really help :)

Cheers, Johnty.

Hey, Dev... My game is crashing all the time after the game begins (it's ok on char creation though)

I posted my two crash logs on my dropbox:

Running Windows 8, btw. Maybe that's relevant.

Cheers!

I can confirm that Lawrance isn't the only one having trouble with Chainsaw Warrior, everytime I play a new game I roll stats for my character and crashes at the very first enemy then screen tears followed by game over and I have to Ctrl + Alt + Del to get out of the game.

Any idea whats causing the issue?

To Lawrance Cohen and SenhorLampada I managed to get Chainsaw Warrior working all you have to do is either click on steam, top left corner go into setting and turn off Steam community in-game or go into your library right click mouse button Chainsaw Warrior then properties and turn off Steam community in-game.

Hope that helps and yet again it's up to the player to work around bugs to get the game "WORKING"

I have the same problem. In my desktop Pc, with Win XP Sp3, runs fine, but in my portable, with Win Vista, still happens.

I tried booted .exe with XP compatibility and Turned off Steam Community, but nothing.

The error is always the same: when you begin a first combat, after rolled the dices, appears the screen telling that you are been killed, fixed or flasher, and you must to command ctrl + alt + sup to exit the game.

In my opinion, its a code bug with Vista OS; not a graphic matter.

Any solutions...?

Can you try installing these two:
32 bit Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
64 bit Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

To make sure you have all the needed files?

Thanks

I have a newer version of Microsoft Visual C + + 2010 (x86) redistributable... But reinstall the game, apparently, resolves the problem.

Thanks for you support...!

And, by the way... you plan make more adaptations of classic games of cards and board in the future....?

I'm having this exact pronlem with my installation of the game.

As soon as I enter my first battle, the screen tears and I will see a screen that says "game over" with the screen from the battle barely visible under it. If I try to interact with the battle screen, nothing works, but I can get back to the main screen through the "game over" screen, where the game returns to normal functionality... until I start a new game and enter another battle.

I'm on a 2008 Macbook running OSX version 10.7.5, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2gb RAM.

It's incrediby frsutrating as the game works great all the way until I enter a battle, but at this point the game is unplayable for me. I really hope you guys have figured out how to resolve this.

EDIT: Just noticed, opening the options results in me being trapped there. I can change settings, but clicking on "back" just plays the button's sound-effect, it doesn't let me leave.

The mac version was a test version and not quite ready yet. We're looking at that now.

Thanks
