The 9 endings

Here's a list of the 9 endings so you can keep track of which you've seen now that there's an achievement for it. Ones you encountered before the achievement was put up probably don't count, but since most of them are for losing in various ways, it shouldn't be too much trouble to rack them up again, except perhaps for the zombie venom one (don't know if that's ever happened to me).

Lose all health
Die due to venom
Die due to radioactivity
Run out of time
Be killed by the Slime
Detonate the Implosion Vest before facing Darkness
Face Darkness without a Laser Lance or Implosion Vest
Defeat Darkness with the Implosion Vest
Defeat Darkness with the Laser Lance

Is this all that was added in today's patch? Triggers for achievements? I can't find patch notes.

They didn't fix the "wait at a Dump until a zombie shows up and there's no zombie but you can get another item, refill, clip" bug I reported months ago on here. Assuming that is a bug, of course.

Oh yes that's a bug for sure. They also haven't fixed the "Easy achievement not unlocking" for quite a few people (myself included). Shame, it's one of the few games I had a chance of getting a 100% on.

By the way does anybody else think the Lunatic card obviously 'cheats'? He almost always steals my laser lance but nothing else.

Ive had plenty of other items stolen. Whats the diff. youre playing at?

Hey there. Checking back in after some time!

Our latest project, working with NDemic Creations to bring Plague Inc to Steam, is now out so we are diverting some time back to Chainsaw Warrior for updates, the first of which will be going live very soon and is as follows:

Adding a new Achievement which this topic is about.
First of all we are fixing the achievement and stats system bugs.
Optimisations.

We will be making a larger update soon which adds new cards and fixes the scoreboard hacks.

The best approach I can think of is to reroll your character until you get one with very low endurance but high health, and then keep selecting "wait" and hope you get attacked by enough wandering zombies before the time limit is reached.

If you want to do it even faster - use save/load on each zombie encounter to be sure they poison you.

There should be more venom sources besides zombies, Darkness and some rare Chaos Agents. It's nearly impossible to die from venom playing normally.

I've tried this now on 4 occasions and I only ever seem to get venom from the first zombie who hits me but not from any of the others I meet.

It is a 1 in 3 chance to advance venom from meeting a zombie, and a 1 in 2 chance every round in combat with darkness.

I also only need to die by venom. Used some of these tactics to get it yet still can't get hit with it on hard with 8 points of endurance lol. Kind of funny how this game is one of a very few which benefits losing (for an achievement). Still top game.

It took a lot of patience, but I can confirm this method works. Having as high health as possible (and ideally a medkit), and a strength of around 9 to give you a decent chance of getting bitten early without being helpless in combat were key to making this feasible.

Is there any way to see which endings you've already unlocked? I got 8/9, but am unsure if I'm missing "Face Darkness without a Laser Lance or Implosion Vest" or "Die due to venom".

Unfortunately not, you'll just have to try them all ;)
However, in my experience Venom is the hardest one to get, especially without deliberately trying for it. Unless you've run a game specifically for the venom ending there's a good chance it's that one.
