Broken graphics

There's some breakage in the training area. Around the target practice dummy, there's a large black shadow hiding everything except immediately around the player. Also, the weapon carries its own large black rectangle; carrying it causes the player and surroundings to be blacked out: horizontally, about half of the game window, and vertically, about ⅓ of the game window. (There is a line of such rectangles; they appear to correlate with weapon aim angle.)
