DO NOT BUY! - Incomplete game

This game is incomplete. Do not buy it. It ends abruptly. The game will never be finished.

I got it last year and obtained a refund from Steam for my troubles.

yeap, the game killed interwave studios, so no future episodes, updates and so on.
yeap, the ending is POS.
Actually it's awesome game, it just didn't get enough funding to fully get up from the ground. You play it and you feels like it is small part of a bigger game. Though it definitely worth the sale price. There is another examples of games which ended like that, stuff happens. Some stories never get endings. The same goes with SiN sequel or Insecticide. Even Half-life ended abruptly for some reason. Life happens, and life's a b**ch.

The best thing about this game is the trailer that you can watch on the store page. It's the opening shot for the game and it really goes downhill from there.

If it had a finished plot might be worth, but it is not finished, not in a way that isn't half assed, and appears to have been completely dropped by the devs and they themselves do not seem to be making anymore games. Just watch the trailer and go find other games.

TL;DR: Trailer worth watching, game not worth buying.

Just beat the game. Very VERY bad game, it's on my top 10 of worst games I've played in my life.

Reasons why the game and ending is horrible
- You walk into the Biolabs and enter a door to see the final cutscene.
- There is no epic end boss at all.
- If you continue past the door there is just a half baked pit leading to your death.
- You NEVER acquire the freezing nanotech
- Once you get the grenade gun the game is practically over.
- The game is filled with numerous graphical glitchs during animations.
- Some enemies randomly get teleported around a room.
- Extreme graphic lag due to really poor programming skills and a lack of optimization
- AI pathing is broken for several enemies (See Samurai)
- Objective are sometimes broken (Breaker Box 3 Invincible Tennacle)
- You weapon randomly changes when you walk through doors or reload
- You can jump but for some reason cannot jump over enemies
- The rarest item drops are NOT used in the game at all.
- Your inventory item array is fixed, not draggable and sortable

It was discounted so I thought I was gonna check it out since a lot of time have past, maybe it was better than before. Apparently I was wrong.

Yeah looks like there's not been any updates for a year now after the first few.
The studio is shut down, and an external team had to finish the ending.
Basically, only buy if you are ok with its current state.
