i found so many units(Armored personnel carrier,Infantry fighting vehicle,Tank Destroyer) had the function of amphibious.
but they're different icons types.
it's very hard to distinguish who has amphibious function in the battle.
So could you kindly design a brand new icon for who has amphibious.
pls redesign icons of amphibious. and set amphibious as priority one

What's this? my God!!
AA in the water, we still need warships??
Wg isn't arcarde, it goes deeper, really deep. So please no new icons. Once you know your deck, you don't need them.
mars_yu_tw, the first link in the op is worth gold!
I started two years ago with wg:ee, got only a few units and learnd more and more about the others by the time. Thougt "this game isn't for me, needs too much time, makes headache' paused for a year, But I came back, learned about the units, about strategy and enjoy the wg series since last year more than 90% of all my other games. It developed itself to one of my three absolut favorits.
It's true. The learning curve is steep, but it's more than worth when you get the yield for the invested time and work!
Infact, today I play three different games, don't need all others anymore. And one of them is WG!
Thx Eugen, you help me to relax after work! ;-)
pleas help
1. What is the best way to learn the game as a totally new player? Playing the campaign? Or chosing one of the ready built decks and learning to use it through skirmish mode? I am finding the campaign difficult because I often find myself fighting battles without the necessary components e.g. recon, or supply....
2. Do recon units function as recon while in their transport, i.e. if it is a recon infantry unit in a helicopter transport, do I need to land and unload before they will start spotting enemies?
3. When I unload infantry units into buildings, what do I do with the vehicles/helicopters they arrived in? Do I land them, or move them back to keep them save? Or are leave them as part of the squad with thier own offensive/defensive capacity?
4. Do units in forrest receive a negative bonus to their aiming when firing from cover? Does this apply to artillery?
5. What is the FOB and how does it work? Do supply trucks have to return to the FOB to resupply?
I have lots more questions but won't push my luck :) This game seems very complex, challenging and interesting which is all great.. but a playable tutorial for totally new players is surely a must, I have NO IDEA what is going on most of the time!
2. you need to unload them
3. hide them for later use. they also can do a little recon or fight if they've weapons.
4. when they've line of sight to target they can shoot at it as normal.
5. yes, rightclick on fob and they will fill up automaticaly.
