extend mode issues

Hello,

windows 8, nvidia gtx970x2 SLI and a AMD FX9590

LAtest driver and firmware; tried different usb and monitor plugs.

DK2 direct mode works great; no issues with any games or demos that support.

Extend mode; nothing works
So; both LEDs are blue; windows desktop shows on OR screen with correct orientation; if I click on launch demo on the Oculus configuration tool; a black screen shows up on regular monitor and oculus.

Same for all games that need extend mode.

I guess big picture mode VR doesn't work in extended at all, no matter what firmware you're on or the specs of your pc.
