Async Reprojection: Off
Allow Asyncronous Reprojection is checked. I am in direct mode. I am running a gtx 1060 3gb on driver version 381.65. Can anyone think of any reason why it still shows async reprojection as off?

Do you have an oculus? I suspect this does not work on oculus even though various guides say to turn it on.

Yeah i do. I wondered about that myself too. Is the Oculus ASW (Asynchronous Timewarp) the same thing?

EDIT: Posted too soon without researching.. Found this article[www.roadtovr.com] where it said:

"Oculus Rift owners have been enjoying the benefits of an asynchronous reprojection solution (called asynchronous timewarp) since its launch in March, which already works across all applications (including when using the Rift in SteamVR mode), so there is no impact on Rift users with this update. It’s great to see Valve beginning to offer a similar technology, but they still need to expand the support to AMD cards in order to match Oculus’ complete solution."

So seems like Oculus owners do not have to worry about that. Strange how Valve does not mention this. Would save a lot of users a lot of headache :]

Well you said asw then called it timewarp. Async timewarp is basically the same as sync reprojecion. Async spacewarp is another method. In oculus debug tool we have the ability to enable/disable asw but no mention of atw. I wanted to confirm that atw is in fact working with steam games but couldn't find anything.

As i pasted in previous post check this out:
