Fonts are way too small to be seen!!
I'd love to start playing this game, but i can barely read the text and it strains my eyes.

The green font ( used in the game ) looks like it was optimized for 320x240 resolutions; overly compact. What is that - 6 point? The Orange 'dot matrix printer' font is so grainy that it is very hard to read.

Looks like a good game, but i am not sure. Please fix this soon so i can play.

Set your Dialog Font to Large in Options - Interface. This should help a little bit.

I did that, and it helps somewhat, but the labels on things are still super small.

The 'large' size should be the 'normal' size. Can't imagine what 'small' would look like. I don't think that many people will be playing this on a 320x240 screen these days.. high res 1080p and retina displays on things are becoming more common.

If the whole directx window was stretched by 2x, that would be helpful as well. Then you could run 640 x 480 or 480x360 on the average computer monitor doubled up, allowing the person with the average monitor to see not only the small fonts properly, but the detail in the graphics..

yea I got it pretty easy I play my games on an old 42" flat panel I replaced last year. On another note I think the Dev, Styg has that larger font issue on his todo list already so no worries.

Yes, fonts are one thing I plan to fix in the near future (not in the next update, though, sorry).

Oh, okay. Sorry to throw another msg out on something you're already aware of.

Look forward to playing this game when the time comes.

i windowd mine so it had a slightly lower resolution, 720p, then set it to large and it became readable.

im on a 1080i setup myself with a 22inch HDTV as a monitor.

its not AMAZINGLY readable, but good enough to see the points required

It doesn't appear that the graphics or fonts scale with screen resolution. I have a 27" monitor so I play everything at 1920x1080, but the game graphics only take up a fraction of the screen at that resolution and the fonts are barely readable. I have to switch to 1280x720 resolution to make the game playable. I assume there is no camera zooming?

This is what I'm looking for as well. The ability to scroll+zoom in and out from the character. Everything is just way too tiny on my 30" 1920X1080 monitor. Even playing at 1280X720 it's still too small for my tastes and that also adds pixelation which just makes the game look dated and bad. This game needs real resolution support or at least the ability to zoom in and out on the character in the game via mousewheel scrolling or the Num+ and Num- keys at least. .

Styg, this should really have priority. There's an increasing number of screens with high resolutions. On my Lenovo W500 with 1920x1200 px. the fonts are microscopic and this makes me not playing the game (waiting eagerly for a better UI).Good UI and font size is in Xenonauts e.g...

Yeah, this issue should have priority. Purchased the game today but did not play very long because of this issue. Maybe it could help to change the font type. I'm sure the dev's chose this font to fit in with the type of game but its really very difficult to read. I play on a 23-inch monitor at 1920x1080 16:9. Keep in mind some players (that's me) aren't that young anymore hence the poor eyesight :)

try running at 1600x900, I know thats not the ideal answer but I find I do that on games that have similar font size issues. I play on a 32"TV tho and my default res is 1920x1080 as well.

I'll give it a go. But hopefully you'll address the issue at some time in the furure. Thanks for the reply.

Im not the Dev, I just have been part of the alpha since it hit steam. Im pretty sure Styg(the Dev) has this on his todo list, as this has been requested many times.
