[SOLVED] Devs - why is this not marked as 'software'?
Not anything against the product, just noticed that it doesn't have the 'software' tag, which is what this is. Its got its own section and basically would be appropriate.

Yeah, it's under "Indie Games".

Also, not to sound too harsh, but I have no clue how this managed to get on Steam. This is basically a very basic GUI project, something students would build in 2-3 month for a Software Development class, and I honestly don't see why it's being sold for 30$.

Any developer worth his salt could write this in a few weeks.

As far as productivity software goes, 30 dollars is actually pretty cheap. Its fine that you have no use for this program, but you can only speak for yourself. There are people out there that benefit from software like this, and as I said, this is pretty affordable.

How it got here? We wanted it. Also it is a niche product with not many other competitors and Valve likes such things, so it might not needed as many votes as other stuff. It is also not a simple GUI project, it might look spartan but the design is not very relevant. I'm better with an ugly horse, that doesn't need much to eat and does what I say then having a beautiful mare in the barn that eats for two and acts like a goat.

Demand also sets the price and the demand is not very high for such a product. If 1 out of 1000 people actually wants to get his ♥♥♥ down and write some stuff that is a very high number and for that 30$ is not much. It is for people with some amount of ambition, not for buy to have it there when you need it.
