Cutting right to the chase. Buy it. Favorite TellTale game to date. And that's considering I played their Walking Dead game. Film noir meets a mysterious point-and-click adventure within the world of Fables
. If you liked Walking Dead, this is much the same thing, but mystery and replacing the gun with, well, the wolf among us.
...please don't let that line steer you away. I will say, tiny con. If you want this game, get it for the price of $15, which is three episodes. Episode 2 is, regrettably, the low point of the game. Does that make it bad? No, by no means. It just does not shine in comparison to the others. Episode 4 falls flat in the same way, but manages to learn from the Ep. 2 mistake to make it at least a tiny bit better. Effectively, you'd be paying for the price of three really fantastic episodes: the start, the middle, and the finish, while the other two episodes act as building blocks so that the next episode is entirely that much better.
tl;dr - Seriously, buy it. It's flaws are omittable because this game is a fantastic 7-10 hour experience, and while I would reccommend it on sale, I would suggest to buy it at any price to support TellTale for their fantastic work. I'll give it a damn 11/10.
