I want to start reading the comics, can someone help me out

I live in New Zealand thus its a bit harder to find Comics. I am.. hoping this is what I am looking for.

Book one is Legends in Exile. That does cover the first ten issues but seems overly expensive. As you could pick up three or four trades for that price.

There are certain websites around where you can view the entire run for free... But it is best if you want quality to get them in the collected volume formats like that.

I don't know about everyone else here but I read them via. a tablet (it's what's helped me get back into comics really). Both the android and iOS store have the comics sold in Volumes - similar to paperback - and they contain anywhere from 5 issues or comics to as much as 10. That's why the prices vary for each volume.

If you do buy a comic for a tablet device you'll need a comic reader (usually free) - perfect viewer is free on android and my personal favourite whilst comic rack is supposed to be good for iOS devices.

Legends in Exile is the first Volume/book, as MorningLightMountain has stated.

You can get the paperback volumes starting with Legends in Exile or you can pick deluxe hardcovers which are bigger and contain more issues but are more expensive
The alternate is buying every issue digitally on a site like Comixology or finding all the single issues
There are spin off series and graphic novels also so if you enjoy main you could also dip into those

I use YACreader (BEST comic reader on iOS no exceptions) and import the comics through my computer. If you can find good scans you'll be fine. I think there's around 100 comics in this series, so it would pretty hard finding them all, if it's as difficult as you say living in NZ
