I have a Theory RyanM23 but I'm not going to say just yet.Your thread has a positive vibe to it.So before I give my theory about it,I'd like to hear yours.Plus others.

Well on a similar thread, I already blurted out that I think the guy shown rolling down the window to the car in Ep. 3 (be that the "Crooked Man" or not) was King Cole. All I'm saying is that it looked like him to me, and that is my idea so far. Some people are saying The Red Queen or Headless Horseman.. I really don't think those are it, cause well.. I just don't. Yeah, so maybe Dee and Dum are associated with The Red Queen cause of Alice in Wonderland.. and Crane is associated with Headless Horseman. It just doesn't sit right with me, and I don't think they'd let something rather obvious like that be the hook for the story. I don't know how "canon" this is supposed to be from the comics. If that's so, then my guess is most likely wrong. I think there are a lot of things put in this game, like most mysteries, to try and lead the viewer astray. The Crooked Man could be Bluebeard. He fits the profile for the murderer quite well, too. I having read Fables, **MOAR SPOILERS** know he is a bad guy. But I wanted to not go with that because deep down I want it to NOT be him. Yet again, it would be something very obvious to people who have read the comics. That isn't want these games are about, after all. To sum it up, I'm still at the point where I could believe that Crooked Man is his own entity from the rhyme his name is inspired from. But I'm still saying that guy in the car was King Cole, for whatever reason he was maybe there.

It's not Cole as I mentioned in the other thread plus he doesn't actually look like the character we saw in the car. Cole's also one of the nicest characters in the entire series as well. Also unlikely to be Bluebeard for canon reasons as well. The game is a canon prequel.

They would all be much too obvious in my opinion. I'm sure alot of people have Bluebeard as their main suspect, just because he is there, and seems like a bad man.

I need to play episode three again but isn't the character who briefly waves out of the window in the back of the car?

There were 2 cars, and Mary stated when he put his hand out of the window "The crooked man says it okay" so it was him who put his hand out, you can tell this from the sleeve.
whether he plays a big role or not, he is tied in to this in a strange way

You really don't think the guy who rolled down the window looked like Cole? It was an instant spark for me when I saw him. The guy who rolled down the window also may not even be the "Crooked Man", as we all want to quickly jump to thinking.

I'm surprised you didn't even touch the guy with the 'stache they show in the back seat. I don't think the ginger or the capped kid are anything but lackies. Also, I don't think someone as important as "Crooked Man" would be driving people around when he's getting everyone else to do dirty work for him. He'd be making them drive him. Also, another thing against your theory of flatcap being Crooked man, if you take another look at the picture you took, the guy is waving from the backseat.. not the front seat. You can see the front seat's head rest in the picture in front of the waving hand. I'm with you in thinking that Mary might be the one who is actually doing the dirty work of killing people, and I too kept noticing that red haired guy show up. I didn't clue in on the flatcap kid.. but I've only played through once and bound to miss some things. People are already saying that guy is Tiny Tim based on his character model being named "Tim" and the ginger kid is reportedly "Cryer".

There is 5 Episodes, so it is to soon to assume anything. Likely we will be wrong

Not in the slightest. It wouldn't even matter if they looked similar as canon immediatly rules Cole out of any possibility of being the Crooked Man. As Cole is the current mayor of Fabletown and still the mayor in issue one twenty years later that does mean it's not Cole. Cole is also one of the genuinely nicest characters featured in the comic as well and not also living a double life as an underworld kingpin.

I would suspect he is The Crooked Man and not the flatcap person who is probably just the driver.

There are the various characters who can be ruled out for canon reasons. I would highly suspect The Crooked Man is unlikely to be a character who is also in the comics.

I have this werid feeling that it's Bumpkin somehow. Trying to frame Ichabod maybe? I haven't read fables, so I probably don't know enough. I talk about my theory being developed on my youtube playthrough.

As with Cole. No due to reasons of canon.

So,since this is my first Introduction to the Fable universe.I spent some time looking up as much as i could.I Believe this is about some Vengence towards Bigby,or even Snow, even a trial.Nobody has really died, since it's a universe that uses magic and glamor,it can be faked or misleading.I guess in the end I believe the guy in the car is Bigby's father...The North Wind, aka Mr North,he may not be the Murder say to speak, but i believe he's the one pulling the strings. After all Bigby tried to kill him Seven times, and failed. http://fables.wikia.com/wiki/File:NorthWind.jpg
Plus this is Pre Canon,so it has to follow certian guild lines.

I havent read the comics and don't plan on it, i simply bought the game because im a huge fan of the rest of TellTale's Work, So my guesses and Assumptions are purely drawn up from the storyline of the game, I feel like Jack Has a Huge Role To Play Soon.

Well... Red Mary says something about a "queen", and it sounded like she wasn't talking about herself. I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Queen is involved, especially since there's some chess-references ("The Lucky Pawn"). And 'off with her head!' is kinda her thing.
