Display Resoultion and Black Screen

I had this issue. Could not change resoultion, changed to windows mode, then I could chnage the resoultion. But when I went back to Full Screen I got the black screen.

So I changed desktop resioultion to what I had changed the game resolution to. Launched game and it is fine. It is fussy having to change resolution back and forth but not the end of the story as it were.
