I just started the game for the first time on a PC running Windows 7 and the default resolution is out of range of my 1440x900 monitor. Rooting around in the game files, I can't seem to find any ini settings or other way by which to change the resolution, nor do any of the launch options I try seem to make any changes. Is there an easy way to change the resolution outside of the in game settings?

I'm running the game with highest settings and at 2560x1440(downscaling) on my computer (Specs are: Windows 8, Intel i5 3570k @ 4.2ghz, Nvidia 660ti, 8gb ram which should be plenty to run it alright), and got some nasty slowdown in the Pizza land. The game also didn't like me alt tabbing to open up fraps to see exactly what the frame rate I was getting during that section. It just wouldn't let me tab back, could hear the sounds, and hear my movement of the controller but no graphics. Consequently had to alt + f4.

I believe I am having a similar issue... I am on Windows 7 with HDMI connected to my TV (since my laptop screen is busted) and when I launch the game, I hear the music and when I press buttons, I can tell I'm going through menus, but my screen remains blue and says no input. I, too, am unable to find a way to change resolution outside of the game. Maybe someone who can play the game can walk through, step by step, the actions to get into that menu and change the settings? I know it's a lot to ask for but I really want to play this game lol

Running on Windows 8 64bit, Intel i5 4670k@3.4ghz, MSI 660 GTX OC, 8GB RAM. Hitting large batches of slowdown. First was in the opening cutscene, second was in the main office before I sat down, ran past the area with the pidgeon degaussing minigame and got some slowdown and am currently slideshowing my way through pizzaland.

My favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

EDIT: Taking a screenshot (F12 by default on Steam) seems to be one of the causes for the slowdown, at least in Pizzaland. Every time I take one it starts dropping frames until I'm hitting powerpoint slides, then it goes back up to 60FPS. Though it still drops frames like crazy here and there without taking a screenshot. Hope this helps nail down part of the problem!

I have the same resolution problem as feliscele. I have a 1920x1080 resolution screen. But the game starts at an even higher resolution and just starts to flicker.

Running windows 7, with a nvidia titan gtx.

Same here. The Xbox controller support is super weird: the left analog works, but not the right one (looking right/left is assigned to up/down), and the shoulder buttons are used to look up/down. A/B/X/Y don't work at all.

I went to use the trinoculars on the 2nd floor of the beach resort, and it softlocked the game.

As mentioned in a few scattered posts, the ability to rebind keyboard keys and controller buttons would be nice.

Currently, the default gamepad controls are mapped with X=jump and A=action, which is backwards from most every game ever. I had to put the game down for now, as I was getting frustrated at the backwards buttons and not enjoying or paying attention to the actual game. Bummer.

My favorite cereal is Crispex. The most respectable cereal.

Hey guys, thanks for all the info above. We're passing everything along to Necrophone.

BTW we have been testing with X360 controllers by default, but have not experienced issues. We're going to look into the controller problems stat.

I see some people already posted the same issues that I had. Well.
The guy is right, do not use item when you stand on it.

Edit: I will upload a video (unlisted) just to show how hilarious it is.

Edit.2: On the very beginning of the game I couldn't sit on the chair, but I could check the magazines.

Edit.3: Pizza level cause massive frame drop. It's probably caused by rotating ragdolls on the ground.

Edit.4: When you get a coin, scroll forward to experience switch item sound bug.
This bug happens when you have TWO items or ONE item.

Edit.5: Sometimes when you are a place where two actions are (Pick up something / check something) you might trigger both mechanism at once.

Edit.6: If you have two monitors, you'll experience mouse being off the screen.

It would be very nice if you could add [] feature in game. Less confusing.

Edit.26: Loading previous save Might unable to do some actions in-game.
Ex: Save before you free director, load game and then you won't be able to open the door again.

Edit.27: Loading old saves will freeze the game.

Same problems as some others , game resolution out of range on a hdtv and cant find any way to change the screen resolution outside of the game that works.
