Infinite loading times

First time playing a map?
When you load a map for the first time the game has to create a whole bunch of cache files. Depending on how much stuff is in the map, this can take a while, up to a few minutes. How long are you waiting?

I waited about 3 minutes before giving up. If that's really what has been happening, I guess i'd just watch TV while the game loads. I'm extremely impatient. Yes, this is the first map I played.

You can actually follow the loading process by looking at the second window that opens when you launch the game. It lists everything that is going on in the engine while game runs and shows you what is being loaded while the map loads up.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't notice that second window meant anything

I have come across a few bugs,
1. the sky doesn't load!
2. crashes a bit
3. can't download some of the files then crashes
anyone now how to fix these things?
