It works fine in multiplayer, it doesn't work fine in ONLINE multiplayer, two completely different things.
Really sorry about your experience. Would be an enourmous help if you could let us know a bit more.
What systems were you using, only windows? And which dungeon did you try to get into before you experienced a load crash?
We are usually testing it remotely by playing from our office in denmark with people in germany for instance, but it's very hard to test all scenarios. Which makes your help very valuable!
Online. Coop. Multiplayer. That's the advertised game. You want me to split screen this on a friggin PC? Want me to call my friends over from 30 miles away so we can play a casual round of forced? Get real dude.
In answer to the dev, Windows7 x64 on my end, windows7 x64 on my buddies end. Dungeon was one before the Wrathoof level. The issue wasn't that it crashed, it was that nobody was able to join afterwards, regardless of who hosted. Invites didn't work, joining through the multiplayer interface ingame didn't work.
A day later, everything works fine for a bit, then fails again.
We try hosting with every member of the group, try joining through steam or through the game. If that all fails, we give up and go do something else.
All I'm asking is for you to not just say "Multiplayer isn't working! Wahhhh!"
Because if multiplayer wasn't working... well, it'd be impossible to play this with another person at all!
> Friends.
> 30 Miles away.
That made me chuckle.
You're nitpicking, and you're being a complete tool.
Oddly enough it IS possible to be friends with people who live outside of shouting distance from you. I'd wager that MOST people who play this game are in a similar situation to mine. Adults typically have jobs and schedules and activities and kids and a whole lot of other stuff that is not conducive to playing split-screen games like we did when we were 12.
Chuckle all you want. Keep it to yourself.
How did you even meet them when they're 30 miles away though, I can understand 10, but 30?
Oh wait... these aren't "internet friends" are they?
Good to hear :) was trying to play it a few days ago with friends but kept having issues. While it worked it seemes very enjoyable though so looking forward to playing after it's updated :p
We done?
Where is multiplayer mentioned in this? I don't see it :)
When someone says "multiplayer" that means online, local, lan, every form of multiplayer.
So if multiplayer were to be broken for someone, they wouldn't be able to play all forms of multiplayer.
I'm cool with someone not being able to play multiplayer when they can't, i'm not cool with people lying or deceiving.
I did, he told me to "get real, dude"
When someone starts insulting me, I insult back.
Before he said a word to you. He responded to THAT with get real, dude. You started this not him :p
What he said here makes it clear he is playing online co-op with friends and not through LAN.
I told him to try local instead, he tells me to "get real"
Yeah... your point being?
It was clear when he said that, yeah, but like I said, if he insults me, I'll insult him.
But sure, I started it by telling him multiplayer =/= online. I guess?
